State Licensed Managing Counsel

A company is looking for a Director and Managing Counsel (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Lead commercial legal support for sales, operations, marketing, and product teams

Develop and implement strategies for efficient contracting processes and vendor operations

Provide legal analysis and guidance on key business initiatives and complex legal matters

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school and a member of the bar in at least one state or the District of Columbia

10+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years managing lawyers in-house

Experience in a marketplace company with B2B and B2C operations is a plus

Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of developing and guiding teams

Direct experience with drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts
