[job_card.job_description]Location : Augusta, GA 30901\n Assignment Type : Travel Nursing, On-Site\n Start Date : January 12, 2026\n End Date : April 6, 2026\n Duration : 12-week contract\n Shift : Days, 3x12-hour shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 00)\n Hours per Week : 36\n Float : Required to all Med-Surg, MS / Telemetry, and PCU units within the hospital\n Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend (average 6 weekends per 13-week contract)\n Scrub Color : Navy Blue\n Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry settings\n Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)\n BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required\n Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system\n Ability to float between units as needed\n Previous charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred\n Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred\n Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in PCU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry units\n Manage patient ratios of 1 : 4-5 in PCU and 1 : 5-6 in Med-Surg / Telemetry units\n Float between various units, adapting to diverse patient populations and diagnoses\n Utilize Epic for electronic charting and maintain accurate patient records\n Perform clinical skills including arterial line management, cardiac telemetry, ventilated patient care, and central line care\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams such as IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response teams\n Comply with hospital policies regarding holidays, time off, and regulatory requirements\n Participate in orientation and complete required training modules\n
