CNC Operator

Position Summary :

OPEX Corporation is looking for full time CNC Machinists to work at our Pennsauken, NJ location. We are looking for workers who are able to commit to a full time schedule during our first shift (5 : 45a-2p) or second shift (M-F, 2 : 00p-10 : 15p).  We are currently looking for workers who have experience using Mazak turning equipment or Haas Milling machines. We are looking for dependable, organized, mechanically skilled individuals for this opening.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Worker will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce parts
• They look at the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production
• Follow written and verbal procedures for machining and other duties
• Load parts and / or material, prove programs, operate controls, set offsets, perform simple edits, debur and inspect quality parts for conformance to requirements
• Inspect your work produced using micrometer; calipers, or other measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications
• Study and interpret drawings, specification or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements
• Ensures resources are continually operating in a safe manner
• Works as a team member, meeting professional standards of cooperation, communication
• Maintain regular attendance and perform duties in a timely manner, arriving and departing for assignments and meeting as requirements
• Other responsibilities as assigned
