Our sales staff can help select the proper hardware, tools and supplies needed for just about any , Dixieline Lumber & Home Centers is owned by Builders FirstSource, the largest supplier of building products, prefabricated components, and value-added services to the residential construction market in theDirects and oversees warehouse activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw material and finished goods inventories to all locations throughout the region.
* Plans and schedules department functions to ensure the prompt delivery of merchandise of the kind and in the amount ordered.
* Manages and oversees the daily activities of warehouse employees.
* Establishes standards and operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing and shipping of products and materials to include review of work orders, consumption reports and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods; issues work assignments.
* Supervises assigned employees including staff selection and training; planning, assigning and directing work; conducting performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and six (6) years of warehouse experience; or equivalent education and experience.
