Financial Services Tax Practice Director

A career in our Financial Services Tax practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You'll also help organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. Our team helps our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. You'll help our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.

As part of the Financial Services Tax team you are expected to lead the way as technology-enabled tax advisors who provide benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Director you are expected to set the strategic direction, lead business development efforts, and oversee multiple projects while maintaining impactful executive-level client relations. You are expected to provide exceptional technical knowledge and specialization, coupled with the One Firm knowledge that brings everything PwC offers to solve our clients' needs.

Responsibilities include setting the strategic direction for the Financial Services Tax team, leading business development initiatives to drive growth, overseeing multiple projects to achieve top-quality delivery, maintaining executive-level client relationships, providing technical proficiency and industry insights, fostering a culture of digitization and automation, equipping professionals to succeed in complex transactions, and leveraging One Firm knowledge to address client needs.

What you must have includes a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 6 years of experience, CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.
