Med / Surg RN Job Details

Location : Nashua, New Hampshire (03060) – Southern NH healthcare jobs

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Unit : Medical Surgical Adult, Step Down

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a); options for 3x12 or 4x12 schedules

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026)

Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend and holiday availability required

Scrubs : Navy blue required

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,130 - $2,190

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

BLS and ACLS certifications required

NIHSS certification recommended

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PCU / Stepdown nursing with telemetry

Strong mathematical, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Med / Surg and Step Down units

Assess patients upon admission, including medical history, vital signs, and diagnostic tests

Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team

Monitor and document patient progress, responding promptly to changes in condition

Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care while upholding core values of compassion, integrity, collaboration, and excellence

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulatory standards
