Junior Software Developer

Overview
We are seeking a Junior Software Developer to join a growing product and engineering team. This role is ideal for an early-career developer who is passionate about building intuitive, accessible user experiences while gaining hands-on experience across the full stack. You will work on both greenfield development and the modernization of existing applications, contributing to customer-facing platforms as well as internal tools.
This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and designers in an Agile environment while continuing to develop your technical skill set.
What You’ll Do
UI / UX Development
- Translate UI / UX designs and wireframes into clean, scalable, and responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Build and maintain interactive UI components for modern web applications
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot UI-related issues to ensure optimal performance
- Help maintain UI / UX standards, visual consistency, and accessibility across applications
- .NET Development
- Review wireframes, prototypes, and mockups and provide feedback on feasibility and user experience
- Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core
- Integrate front-end interfaces with server-side logic and relational databases
- Write and optimize SQL queries and procedures for SQL Server
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance
- Debug and resolve issues across both front-end and back-end codebases
Collaboration & Growth
Collaborate with product managers, senior developers, and QA engineers within an Agile / Scrum environmentParticipate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessionsStay current with emerging technologies and best practicesActively seek feedback and mentorship to support professional growthQualifications
1+ year of development experience (including bootcamps or internships)Foundational front-end skills : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScriptExperience or exposure to a modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Web Assembly, etc.)Basic proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core or UI / UX experience (experience in both is a bonus)Experience with SQL Server and writing basic SQL queriesStand-out Skills from Others :
Strong UI / UX sensibility with interest in accessible, customer-first design
Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies and interfaces (AI, unconventional inputs, modern UI patterns)
