VA DMV Optional Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job Summary :

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides specialized technical knowledge to support Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) review areas including testing cloud architecture data migration and operations readiness. The SME conducts technical assessments reviews artifacts provides expert input and supports validation activities within a defined scope.

Location : Richmond Virginia United States

Responsibilities :

• Conduct focused technical assessments under the direction of the IV&V Project Manager.
• Review specialized artifacts related to testing cloud capacity and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide expert input into findings and recommendations.
• Support limited validation activities within the approved scope.

Required Skills & Certifications :

3 7 years of specialized technical experience within the last 7 years in one or more of the following :

Testing and test automation

Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

Data migration and conversion

Operations and DR readiness

Preferred Skills & Certifications :

Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104 AZ-305)

ISTQB Advanced

AWS or equivalent cloud certification
