Vice President Food and Beverage

The Vice President, Food and Beverage has primary responsibility for administering all aspects of the food and beverage operations by developing and executing strategic plans necessary for short and long-term growth and profitability; uses analytics to measure performance of the department; ensures compliance with established policies and procedures. Provides strategic leadership to F&B operations by supporting Company initiatives. Performs job responsibilities in exemplary manner and according to department standards. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters teamwork and ensures that the team provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs, striving to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core Values.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :

Must be 21 years of age

Bachelor's Degree required. Masters in Hospitality, Business Administration (or equivalent) preferred.

A minimum of ten years of full service, upscale resort, or hotel experience in a high-level leadership position.

Expert knowledge of hotel operations including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques, guest interaction, vendor relations, budgeting, contractual relations and legal compliance.

Excellent communication skills required, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the management and service teams.

Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations as demands require.
