POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES : The Lease Analyst position works under moderate supervision to ensure land obligations are met timely and accurately. The individual will be responsible for owner inquiries, land system updates and special projects as needed. Experience in the analysis of leases, contracts, title opinions and other legal documentation to determine company ownership and obligations in leases, contracts and wells is critical to the success of the team. Special focus to be placed on :

• Setup, monitor, maintain and update necessary leases, contracts and well information into the company's Lease Records system
• Prepare, analyze and interpret computer generated reports from the company’s Lease Records system
• Review, monitor, and assist in coordination of payment recommendations and special obligation reports, taking appropriate action to maintain and protect asset base
• Update company’s Lease Records system to reflect accurate ownership
• Review all owner inquiries and provide timely feedback within the company's owner management system
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, brokers, state / government officials, and the public
• Communicate effectively with internal and external clients
• Maintain employer confidence and protects corporate assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential
