Position Title : Warehouse Assembler

Location : North Chicago

Shift : 1st, 2nd, 3rd available

Pay Rate : Starting at $16 / hr

Position Summary

The Warehouse Assembler is responsible for assembling products, components, or packaging materials according to company standards. This role supports production efficiency, maintains quality, and ensures accurate completion of assembly tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities Assembly Duties

Assemble parts, components, or products following work instructions, diagrams, or standard operating procedures.

Inspect materials for defects prior to assembly.

Ensure completed products meet quality, accuracy, and safety standards.

Use basic hand tools, equipment, or machinery as required.

Package finished goods, apply labels, and prepare items for shipment.

Maintain adequate supply of materials at workstations.

Assist with loading / unloading materials as needed.

Meet daily production goals and performance targets.

Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process.

Report defective materials, equipment issues, or inconsistencies immediately.

Keep accurate counts of parts and completed units.

Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Follow all warehouse safety rules, PPE requirements, and equipment guidelines.

Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Basic mechanical skills or experience working with tools.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly experience.

Knowledge of basic production or quality control processes.

Experience using pallet jacks, hand tools, or small machinery.
