Position: RN Weekend Supervisor
Location: Kearny, New Jersey
Shift: Part-Time or PRN | Weekends, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Salary: $50.00 per hour

Belgrove Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Evening Supervisor to provide strong leadership and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. This role is an excellent opportunity for an RN with supervisory experience who is looking to grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Director and Associate Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and overseeing daily nursing operations in compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.

• Ensure nursing staff meet their responsibilities and deliver excellent resident care.

• Participate in facility surveys/inspections as required.

• Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of resident care and discharge plans.

• Maintain proper staffing levels to uphold quality standards.

• Conduct regular rounds to monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and report to leadership.

• Address and escalate staff complaints/grievances as appropriate.

• Welcome and support new residents during the admission process.

• Accompany physicians on rounds when necessary.

• Oversee medication administration and treatments to ensure compliance with physician orders and schedules.

• Provide direct nursing care as needed.

• Assist with comprehensive nursing assessments.

• Participate in performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.

• Current and valid RN license in New Jersey.

• Minimum of 3 years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings.

• At least 1 year of nursing management or supervisory experience.

• Current CPR certification.
