EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY | ONSITE | CHANDLER, AZ
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems. You will be responsible for software development for embedded hardware, ensuring high performance, reliability, and real-time functionality.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions for various applications.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software performance and ensure seamless integration with embedded systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C/C++ or other relevant languages.
- Develop and execute unit tests, debugging, and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Analyze system requirements and contribute to project planning and timelines.
- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies in embedded systems.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in writing embedded C in bare metal.
- Proficiency in using ARM processors and hardware design.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience with hardware interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO.
- Proficiency in schematic capture using Altium and PCB layout.
- Development experience for 32-bit ARM processors, firmware, and Linux.
- Experience with VLDC and Python.
- Proficiency in low-level programming and debugging tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in Embedded Systems Programming (C).
- Knowledge of Control System Architectures (PIDs).
- Understanding of Serial Communication Protocols (RS232/485, CAN, LIN).
- Experience with vision control systems (., Git).
- Ability to use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and function generators.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
