You will be responsible for identifying and eliminating pests from residential properties by conducting thorough inspections, determining the type of pest infestation, applying appropriate treatments like pesticides and traps, and providing preventative measures to prevent future infestations, all while adhering to safety regulations and communicating with clients about pest control solutions. / ppResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following : / pulliConduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points / liliApply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards / liliEducate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment. Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations. / liliBuild relationships with customers, schedule and confirm their appointments, help with sales to current customers, and expand our product to new customers / liliEnsure that all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition / liliAdhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols / liliDrive and safely operate a company provided service vehicle (we provide routine maintenance) / li / ulpEssential job functions : / pulliWorking in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways / liliWorking around animals, insects and termites / liliYoull sometimes be working around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals, and well train you how to handle all of these conditions safely / liliAble to work both inside and outside in your local climate in company-provided weather gear / liliLots of moving around regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles / liliYoull need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator / li / ulpWhat do you need? / pulliClean shaven face - for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face) / liliHigh school diploma or GED; related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience / liliSuccessfully meet pre-employment background screen / liliPossess a state valid drivers license and undergo motor vehicle driving record check (Company vehicle and gas card provided) / liliLicenses / certificates as required by federal, state, and / or local regulations (covered by us) / liliAvailable to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed / liliOpen to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control / liliSolid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills / liliBasic math skills Youll need to be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels / liliCustomer-facing experience preferred / li / ulh2Base Pay Range / h2pHourly : $17.60 - $22.98 / ppWhile starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
