[job_card.job_description]Prepare documentation for construction or property improvement draw requests. Coordinate and support bank audits, ensuring all financial data is accurate and audit-ready. Maintain organized digital documentation to meet lender and auditor requirements. Track project budgets and verify expenses against loan / contract terms. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and investors. Prepare property-level Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow, and variance reports. Analyze financial data and identify trends, discrepancies, or cost-saving opportunities. Assist with year-end accounting, tax preparation, and external CPA requirements.
Property & Real Estate Accounting
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Accountant with strong skills in property management accounting, bank draw audits, financial reporting, and hands-on experience with Rent Manager and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple properties' financials accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Property & Real Estate Accounting
- Maintain full-cycle accounting for multiple properties (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
- Record and reconcile tenant charges, rent payments, security deposits, and property expenses.
- Monitor accounts payable / receivable and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Handle month-end closing and generate financial statements for each property.
