[job_card.job_description]Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or Software focused Engineering discipline Mastery of software configuration management using Git Proficient in a modern programming language (Python, JavaScript, etc.) Expertise developing modular, reusable software via strong Object-Oriented Software development practices Experience with Container Technology (Docker / podman / etc.) Experience following GitFlow and GitOps workflows using team repository (GitHub / Gitlab / etc.) Ability to apply agentic tooling to accelerate development velocity Flexible time off totaling 36 days / year. Awetomaton is seeking a Software Engineer to support existing customers at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. In this role you will work with a team of 10-15 managing and sustaining an enterprise analysis platform to derive insights from raw sensor data. The ideal candidate will possess a BS degree or higher in engineering or related field. This position will largely be performed from WPAFB and require a security clearance. Sponsorship is available, but Active Top Secret is highly preferred.

- Familiarity with platform management concepts including containerization and Kubernetes
