Position Overview
The Travel Superintendent - Solar will oversee solar installation projects across various sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role is critical in coordinating on-site activities, managing teams, and liaising with clients to deliver successful renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage solar installation projects at multiple locations.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the acquisition of necessary permits and ensure all installations are compliant with local regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met.
- Supervise the installation of electrical systems and other components of solar energy systems.
- Manage commissioning processes for solar projects, ensuring systems are operational and meet design specifications.
- Provide training and support to site personnel on installation best practices and safety protocols.
- Implement SCADA and DAS systems for project monitoring and performance analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar energy projects, including industrial and commercial installations.Strong knowledge of electrical systems and site inspection procedures.Experience with permit acquisition and regulatory compliance in solar energy.Familiarity with SCADA and DAS technologies in the context of solar installations.NABCEP certification is highly desirable.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Benefits
