Training Leader
The Training Leader plays a crucial role in ensuring our mission statement is accomplished : "To create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests." This position involves engaging in various sales, merchandising, and operational tasks under the guidance of store management, including cashiering, merchandise display, register procedures, and maintaining store cleanliness. Collaborating closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team, the Training Leader will develop sales strategies, recruit new team members, and provide supportive leadership.

Key Responsibilities :
- Welcome Guests with warmth and an engaging attitude, ensuring everyone receives exceptional service.
- Provide information and answer questions about products and store offerings.
- Assist Guests in locating and selecting merchandise tailored to their needs and preferences.
- Enhance the shopping experience by anticipating Guest needs and suggesting complementary items.
- Effectively demonstrate products using extensive knowledge and share insights with team members.
- Stay informed about current promotions, policies on payments and exchanges, and security procedures.
- Maintain consistent personal sales performance, while inspiring and guiding teammates to elevate their presentations.
- Meet or exceed sales targets set by management across various metrics.
- Ensure legendary service in core areas : the entrance, sales floor, fitting rooms, and checkout areas.
- Navigate and handle exchange and return processes to create memorable experiences for Guests.
- Utilize the Sales Presentation Guide (SPG) to achieve daily goals.
- Strive for excellence in all Buckle business initiatives including loyalty programs and merchandise recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with Guests while focusing on creating a client-based business.
- Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service and demonstrating attentiveness to Guests.
- Communicate effectively with teammates regarding Guest interactions and service levels.
- Show enthusiasm for discussing business and showmanship insights with management and teammates.

Teammate Development :

Take ownership of product areas by demonstrating effective knowledge and engagement with available merchandise.Complete weekly visual merchandising checklists and understand the product life cycle.Assign daily projects to teammates that fulfill learning objectives.Verify compliance with visual standards and guidelines with urgency and accountability.Demonstrate and implement new merchandising tools and resources.Identify merchandising opportunities and communicate recommendations effectively.Conduct educational tours of the store.Ensure that the sales floor is well-organized and stocked with product displays.Operational Responsibilities :
Maintain a flexible schedule that accommodates store needs, including during peak shopping seasons.Utilize planning tools and follow established opening and closing procedures.Be vigilant of security risks and theft; understand prevention methods.Adhere to loss prevention policies and carry out necessary checks.Master Point of Sale (POS) procedures and ensure accurate execution.Effectively manage communication with the Corporate Office and adhere to company guidelines.Foster a positive approach in challenging situations involving Guests or teammates.Comply with all policies regarding payments, exchanges, and loss prevention practices.Be proficient in navigating and utilizing all necessary tools and resources.Provide constructive feedback to management regarding merchandise handling and store conditions.Maintain a clean and organized store environment to support Buckle's mission statement.Understand and apply Buckle's Code of Ethics alongside company policies and procedures.Leadership Attributes :

High school diploma or GED preferred; with one to three months of retail experience or equivalent training.
