CVOR Surgical Technologist - 13 Week Contract

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM with potential floating to Main OR.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist with proficiency in heart and lung transplant cases. The candidate will primarily work in the CVOR and may float to the Main OR if CVOR volume is low.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures including valve replacement, coronary artery bypass, and TAVR.
• Maintain proficiency in hybrid room, endovascular, and vascular procedures.
• Provide support in Main OR for various surgical specialties including general, laparoscopic, GYN, robotic, ortho/neuro, vascular, and pediatric surgeries.
• Be on call as required, providing 24-hour coverage one weekend per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of surgical tech experience required.
• Scrub experience is a must.
• Experience with heart and lung transplants; kidney experience preferred.
• Familiarity with procedures such as endovascular AAA, carotid endarterectomy, and TCAR.
• Active NJ or Compact license required at the time of submission.
• BLS certification required.
