Shipping And Receiving Specialist

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for pulling products to prepare for shipping, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and documenting all inventory that you handle.

Responsibilities:

• Pull products to prepare for shipping.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Document all inventory handled.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in warehouse production.
• Proficiency in packing orders.
• Experience in picking and shipping & receiving.
• Skill in using an RF scanner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Valid certification to operate forklifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience as a forklift operator is beneficial.

The work environment includes an older facility with multiple floors in a distribution center that is not climate-controlled.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, KS.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
