Job Description : Manufacturing Planner Asc

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products within Lockheed Martins manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Make, Buy Planning : Performing the Make, Buy planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. This involves making decisions on whether to manufacture components in-house or purchase them from external suppliers.
• Manufacturing Activities : Performing one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions. This could include scheduling, routing, and overseeing production processes.
• Inventory Optimization : Maintaining production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization and minimize costs. This includes ensuring efficient use of materials and minimizing waste.
• Material Flow Optimization : Expediting and optimizing material flow to meet customer requirements. This involves ensuring that materials are delivered on time and in the right quantities to meet production schedules.
• MRP Parameter Maintenance : Assisting in maintaining MRP parameters, including lot sizes.
• Collaboration : Routine collaboration with departments such as Procurement, Production Operations, Contracts, and Accounting.
