Overview
Shift : Part-time or Full-time Days
Administers radiation therapy by exposing specific areas of the patient's body to prescribed doses of radiation. Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions, noting on the patient's chart such information as the area treated, the radiation dosage, equipment control settings, the patient's reactions, and the total amount of radiation received to date while delivering excellence patient care.

Qualifications
Education : Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program. Abides by and assures compliance with all UnityPoint Health and departmental policies.
Experience : Previous clinical experience preferred. New grads welcome to apply!
License(s) / Certification(s) : Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Current Iowa Permit to Practice. ARRT registered in Radiation Therapy. Must maintain BLS certification. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities : Microsoft Excel. Problem solving and communication. Teamwork. Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail, and web browser. Professionalism and relationship management. Ability to handle multiple interruptions and changing priorities.
