A Action Appliance Repair LLC, is a family-owned company since 1961 and services all major brands of appliances in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. We partner with our technicians by using a base pay with commissions that can provide an annual income of $65,000-$100,000. Generous benefits include insurance, paid time off, and 401K!

With the full assistance of our General Manager, Service Manager, and Parts Manager, we ensure that you will get superior support and training! As a technician, you will be dispatched directly from your home, provided with a fully stocked van, a laptop, internet, a smartphone, and uniforms.

We are looking for experienced technicians as well as people who are interested in pursuing a career in the home service business. Sign-on bonus for experienced technicians as well as we are willing to financially assist the right candidate who wants to relocate to the area.

Specific Responsibilities:

Install home appliances/equipment

Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the customer's home

Provide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed

Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicles and equipment properly serviced

Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required

Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Job Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent

Valid Driver's License with a clean record

Must be at least 18 years of age

Proficiency in navigating tablet-based technology

The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
