The Database and Administration Specialist provides essential support to the Advancement Department of Groves Learning Organization (GLO) by managing the donor and alumni database, processing gifts, and ensuring accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities :
Administrative Support
Assist with the preparation of acknowledgment letters and stewardship materials.
Provide logistical and clerical support for Advancement events, meetings, and campaigns.
Support the Advancement team with scheduling, filing, correspondence, and budget tracking.
Serve as a point of contact for database-related questions within the department.
Collaboration
Work closely with the Director of Advancement and Advancement staff to support annual giving, campaigns, gala, and special initiatives.
Coordinate with the Accounting / Finance Department to ensure reconciliation of gifts and financial records.
Collaborate across departments to assist faculty, staff, and volunteers with advancement-related activities as needed.
Qualifications :
Associates degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
Experience with fundraising databases (Raisers Edge or similar) strongly preferred.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule & Compensation
Part-time position (approximately 1520 hours per week; some flexibility in scheduling).
