Job Title : Landscape Foreman / Supervisor – Lawn Maintenance Crew

Location : St. Louis, MO

Schedule : Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 40 hours / week

Compensation : $24–$28 / hour (based on experience) + Annual Discretionary Bonus

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and experienced Landscape Foreman / Supervisor to lead our landscape maintenance crew for Class A luxury apartment communities throughout the St. Louis area. This leadership role involves supervising daily activities, working alongside the crew, and ensuring that properties are maintained to the highest aesthetic and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the landscape maintenance crew.
• Perform and oversee all aspects of grounds maintenance, including :
• Lawn care : mowing, fertilizing, weed control, and soil management.
• Tree and shrub care : planting, pruning, fertilizing, pest / disease control.
• Flower bed maintenance : design, mulching, edging, and care for annuals and perennials.
• Seasonal cleanups : spring and fall cleanup to maintain curb appeal.
• Irrigation system oversight : manage seasonal settings, maintenance, and water efficiency.
• Snow removal and plowing as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and professionalism on all job sites.
• Train and mentor crew members on landscaping techniques and safety protocols.
• Plan and execute special landscape projects (e.g., new beds, plantings, hardscape features).
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment.
• Maintain communication with property managers to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues quickly.

What We're Looking For :

We're looking for a motivated and experienced landscape professional who brings both hands-on expertise and strong leadership to the team. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of professional landscaping experience , including lawn care, tree and shrub maintenance, seasonal clean-ups, and flower bed design and upkeep. Experience managing irrigation systems and performing snow removal is a plus. You should have at least two years of supervisory experience , a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Success in this role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, the ability to lead by example , and a commitment to quality work.
