Salary Range : $83,200.00 - $93,184.00
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform various treatments, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess patients' conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and responses to care.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in decision-making for patient management.
- Provide primary and emergency care for a variety of injuries and illnesses.
- Administer medications as per physician orders.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining nursing professional standards.
Qualifications :
Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.Current NYS Registered Nurse license is a must.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is essential.Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are necessary.Knowledge of quality improvement principles and problem-solving techniques.Thank you for your interest in joining us at Albany Medical Center!
