Surety Assistant Account Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Assistant Account Manager- Suretyis responsible forassistingAccount Managers, Senior Account Managersand Producers with the servicing of assigned accountsin accordance withthe practices,policies,and procedures of the Company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in the renewal preparation process, including generating renewal updates on accounts specified by theAccount Manager, Senior Account Manager orProducer

• Review bond requests toverify foraccuracy and request anyadditionalsupporting documents from insured.

• Provides quality customer service to clients, team members, and carriers

• Communicates with company personnelregardingthe client’s needs and/or issues

• Maintainsan accuratesuspense system on all items that require a response

• Fields phone calls from insuredsregardingquestions about their coverage, changes, additions, payments, cancellations etc.

• Responsible for scanning communications and documents

• Input/maintaindata on account management system and ancillary systems asrequired

• Prepares and coordinates all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts

• Other reasonable duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• ​ P & C Insurance Producer License Required

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:

• Twoor moreyears ofofficeexperience strongly preferred

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills

• Proven ability of working in a successful team environment

• Strong data entry skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internetutilization

• Applied Agency Management System experience preferred but notrequired

The expected salary range for this position is $23 - $27/hr depending on geographical location and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
