Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

Pride Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Milwaukee, WI 53226 . This is a 13-week contract with potential for extension.

Job Responsibilities :

• Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.
• Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives.
• Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. -Other duties as assigned.
• Performs radiologic / fluoroscopic procedures accurately and efficiently with the least amount of discomfort to the patient.
• Explains exam to patient.
• Interviews patient to obtain personal medical history, documenting this information into RIS.
• Provides clear explanation and instruction to patient. -Assists patient throughout exam.
