Manufacturing Engineer (EPD II) Foxconn Assembly LLC San Jose, CA What to Expect You will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high -quality products.
This is an on-site role, and physical presence at the facility is required to perform the job responsibilities effectively.
What You’ll Do · Design and implement manufacturing processes and systems · Develop and test automated and manual systems · Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria · Collaborate with Quality Control Teams to ensure products meet established standards · Design manufacturing fixtures and equipment, including installation, validation, and maintenance · Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services · Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements · Optimize facility layouts, production lines, and machine operations · Monitor production costs and assist in budget preparation while implementing measures to reduce waste and manage expenses · Train workers in new and existing manufacturing processes · Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth facility operations, including coordinating plans, resolving manufacturing issues and continuously improving production effective and performance · Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.
