The Electrician Apprentice assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment under the supervision of a licensed electrician. This role involves working with various electrical tools and materials, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving within industrial settings, contributing to the efficient operation of electrical systems.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Measure, cutting, bending, threading, assembling and installation of conduit raceways
- Assist in maintaining tools and games boxes in neat, orderly fashion
- Manage material inventory and storage
- Utilize various electrical tools and materials
- Interpret and follow blueprints
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards
- Other duties as assigned

Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprintsProficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in electrical workStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPhysical stamina and ability to perform manual laborGood communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to learn and follow safety protocolsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to work in various environmental conditionsEducation / Experience :
High school diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitryFamiliarity with tools and equipment used in the electrical tradeBasic math skills (multiplication, addition, subtraction and division) and ability to read a tape measureOSHA 10-hour certification preferredTravel Requirements :
Anticipated 100% travel to project sites nationwideAbility to travel occasionally to attend meetings, trainings, and events.Physical Requirements :
