The Founder-in-Residence, CEO opportunity with our team at Madrona Venture Labs (MVL) is designed to match successful entrepreneurs with business ideas that we believe have the potential to be industry changing opportunities.

The attributes and skills that are important to us include :

• A successful track record of delivering technical products, especially in infrastructure, enterprise or machine learning.
• An outgoing, tech-savvy visionary, skilled at engaging a technical user base.
• Strong presentation skills. Experience with pitching and fundraising is preferred.
• Understanding of GenAI technologies, including models, frameworks, prompt systems and agents combined with the ability to distill these complex concepts into easily digestible insights, especially for non-technical audiences, such as customers, coworkers, and investors.
• Passionate about AI infrastructure and the developer experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability. Has led and recruited at least small-to-medium-sized teams (10+ members), including product, engineering, and go-to-market functions.
• Entrepreneurial acumen. Comfortable in ambiguous situations and excited about early-stage development and a diverse range of responsibilities.
• Located in or willing to move to the Seattle area.
