We are looking for a part-time variable mental health worker for W.L. Miller Elementary School. Operating under the direction of the Mental Health Professional, you have the rewarding opportunity to provide children and families with the guidance and structure needed to succeed in life.

What Do I Need?

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree with major course work in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Anthropology, Political Science, History, Criminal Justice, Theology, Nursing, Counseling, Education, or a related field.

OR

Associate's degree or at least 12 semester credit hours in Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Gerontology, or other social science with 1 year of experience in a behavioral / mental health field.

OR

High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of experience in a behavioral / mental health field.

Other Requirements

• You will maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• You will maintain all required clearances.
• You will have the ability to use typical office equipment.
• You will have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

What Will I Do?

Hours of Work

School Year

Monday-Friday 8am-3 : 30pm

Summer Break

Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-3 : 30pm

What Will I Get?

$17.00 / hr
