We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout our property. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a comfortable environment for guests and staff.

The future Sunny in the heart of Sunny Isles Beach is poised to redefine the beach getaway experience offering a perfect blend of rich history and unparalleled amenities. The resort will feature 339 spacious guest rooms, an eclectic private art collection, six food and beverage outlets, a fitness center, spa & salon, ocean-front pool with tiki bar and fire pits, beach club, and over 22,000 square feet of event space, including a unique oceanfront terrace.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing :

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.

Collaborate with the engineering team on renovation projects.

Qualifications

What we are looking for :

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, preferably in a hotel setting.

EPA certification required.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
