The Accounting Analyst role at Fortitude Mining is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic accounting team within one of the most promising and rapidly growing crypto mining start-ups. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and supporting Fortitude's broader finance and operations functions. Location : Fairport NY - STRONGLY PREFERRED

Key Responsibilities

• Support general accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close procedures.
• Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support.
• Contribute to the implementation of accounting best practices, internal controls, and process improvements.
• Participate in ad-hoc accounting and finance projects, including capital projects and systems integrations.
