Front Desk Coordinator

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Norfolk, Virginia. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication and organizational skills who enjoys working in a dynamic service industry environment. The role requires handling multi-line phone systems, managing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional support to clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities :

• Greet visitors and clients warmly while maintaining an attentive and welcoming environment.
• Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries or concerns with efficiency and courtesy.
• Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate and organize front desk operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day management.
• Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
• Monitor and manage office supplies to ensure availability.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings effectively.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of essential paperwork. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or front desk role.
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards handling 1-10 lines.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve customer concerns effectively.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience working with spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
