Job Description

As a Security Officer  in Flower Mound, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to a positive atmosphere, while you support a culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovation. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and / or credentials as required by site policies.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while patrolling and performing assigned duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
