Role and Responsibilities

As a Probate Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant, you will support our attorneys in providing top-notch legal services to our clients. Your duties will include :

• Attorney Support : Assist attorneys with case preparation and management.
• Case Management : Organize and maintain case files, calendars, tasks, and documents. Ensure timely filing of necessary documents and manage hearing notices, proof of service, and orders.
• Legal Research : Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations to assist in developing case strategies.
• Factual Research and Investigation : Perform research on real property records, corporate entities, and backgrounds.
• Document Preparation : Prepare legal documents including petitions, complaints, discovery requests, disclosure statements and trial exhibits.
• Discovery Process : Draft and respond to interrogatories, requests for documents, and admissions.
• Client Communication and Support : Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering information.
• Trial Preparation : Assist in organizing and reviewing evidence, preparing trial exhibits, and coordinating with witnesses.
• Administrative Tasks : Handle various administrative duties including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, billing, and maintaining case management systems.
