About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of the property. This role performs repairs, completes service requests, prepares vacant units for move-in, and ensures all work meets company standards for quality and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily work orders, including light plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair.
- Turn vacant units, including patching drywall, painting, replacing fixtures, basic electrical/plumbing and ensuring move-in readiness.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems.
- Maintain grounds, common areas, and shared spaces to company standards.
- Assist in coordinating larger repairs (HVAC, sewer, etc.) with vendors and verify work completion.
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls
- Document work performed and communicate status updates to management and residents.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of property maintenance or related experience required.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and completing basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Must have own basic tools; company provides specialty tools and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be able to lift, climb, kneel, and work both indoors and outdoors.
