Role : –Senior Java DeveloperBill Rate : $78 / hour C2CLocation : Hartford, CT Duration : 12+ months / long-term Interview Criteria : Telephonic + ZoomDirect Client Requirement Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing applications using Java, AngularJS, Python, and Node.js. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. Work with stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure application quality, performance, and security through best coding practices and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with existing systems. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and non-production environments. Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development. Strong proficiency in AngularJS for front-end development. Experience with Python and Node.js for backend development and scripting. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration patterns. Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Nice-to-Have : Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.
