Experience : 2 years minimum in Labor and Delivery / Perinatal

License : Registered Nurse license in Texas

Certifications :

BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Advanced Life Support certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification.

Must-Have :

3 years minimum of Labor and Delivery / Perinatal experience in high-volume delivery service.

Description :

This facility is a Level IV Client Designation center.

It consists of 20 labor and delivery suites, 4 C-section suites, and 10 Triage rooms.

The facility has 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms and 14 monitored Ante-partum rooms.

It operates as an academic teaching service as well as accommodating large private OB practices.

The setting is high-risk and fast-paced, performing over 500 deliveries per month.

There is 24-hour in-house attending obstetrician coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage.

A Perinatal Transport Program is available.

The facility is expanding to a new Women's Tower in early 2026.
