Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and design schematics
- Calculate metal shapes and tolerances for precision fabrication
- Design jigs and templates to support part production
- Set up and operate drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines
- Cut, shape, and grind metal components to exact specifications
- Assemble / disassemble tooling and dies to support production and minimize downtime
- Inspect, repair, and test tools and dies for defects and functionality
- Contribute to tooling efficiency and scrap reduction initiatives
- Follow standard procedures for die maintenance and repairs
- Record maintenance and repair data in SAP
Requirements
