Hospital : HCA Houston Medical Center Location : Hermann Dr Unit : 6 South Building : South Tower General Information Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 32 Patient Ratios : 1 : 5 and 1 : 6 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Nurse techs and unit secretary Type of equipment : bedside telemetry Documentation Scheduling requirements : modified self-scheduling, every other weekend Floating policy : will be required to float to another MS unit and ED holds if needed Patient Experience requirements : be familiar with AIDET and hourly rounding, white boards Hospital Specifics- Certifications : BLS, ACLS preferred Hiring profile Requested Skill Set : Must have : Med surg experience and excellent customer service skills Advanced skills needed : ACLS and telemetry experience Procedures performed on unit : Certifications Required : BLS Dress Code : (Required uniform) Royal blue scrubs Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
