About the Role :

Our client is seeking a seasoned

AR Deductions

Manager

to lead AR operations with a sharp focus on

trade deductions

and

team leadership . This is a high-impact role where you'll manage credit risk, drive collections, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex payment issues. You'll also be instrumental in shaping AR strategy and optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and mentor the AR team, ensuring timely and accurate cash application and deduction resolution.

Oversee credit risk assessments and customer credit limit management.

Manage relationships with credit reporting agencies and handle special credit situations.

Monitor AR aging and proactively drive collections.

Own the trade deduction lifecycle - from validation to resolution.

Collaborate with Sales, Trade, and Supply Chain teams to analyze and report on short payments.

Approve write-offs and repayment requests.

Drive continuous improvement in AR processes and systems.

Support month-end close and audit activities.

Deliver timely reporting on AR metrics, deduction trends, and credit exposures.

What You Bring :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).

5+ years of progressive AR experience, including

1+ years managing trade deductions .

Proven

leadership experience

with direct reports and performance management.

Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.

Advanced Excel skills and ERP system proficiency.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
