The Role

Private Client Service (PCS) Tax Managers serve as members of various client service teams. Managers must possess strong technical knowledge of individual and partnership tax planning, consulting and compliance. In addition to the preparation and review of tax returns, Managers participate in identifying client issues and communicating with clients and financial managers. Managers must possess and maintain strong written and oral presentation skills, conduct research on various client issues, and supervise Senior Associates, Experienced Associates and Associates.

Compensation and Benefits

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in Orange County, the expected salary range for this role is $132,000 to $190,100; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree preferred;
• Advanced credential preferred (. CPA, JD, CFP or CFA);
• At least 8 years relevant work experience with an accounting firm, including at least 4 years of Private Client Services experience;
• Leadership and organizational skills;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator;
• Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; and Proficient use of technology including MS Excel.
