Senior Windchill Solution Architect

This is a REMOTE role! We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working out of their home office.

The Senior Windchill Solution Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, systems, and solutions. Their primary focus is on creating functional and efficient software solutions to meet specific business needs or challenges. You are proficient at coding and programming during the software development lifecycle. You will act as a liaison between clients and ArcherGrey’s technical teams by translating complex technical solutions to fulfill business needs while mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, testing, and support of PTC Windchill solutions to meet client needs.
• Guide and mentor development teams to achieve both functional and technical excellence.
• Build and customize Windchill extensions and integrations (e.g., CAD tools, Change Objects, BOMs, Parts, Documents, Effectivity).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain Windchill environments, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Plan and execute upgrades, data migrations, and integration strategies from legacy systems.
• Conduct gap analyses and provide recommendations for data cleansing, preparation, and migration best practices.
• Propose and architect high-level PLM solutions that enhance product development and collaboration.
• Define and implement rigorous software testing procedures to ensure system quality and client satisfaction.
• Serve as a thought leader introducing innovative Windchill approaches that strengthen client success and business growth.

You enjoy collaborating with both clients and internal teams and can translate between business needs and complex technical solutions. You are self‑motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑moving consulting environment.
