Project Development Engineer

A company is looking for a Project Development Engineer to join their team, focusing on energy efficiency and renewable technology in various building types.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and connect with customer decision makers to develop energy efficiency and renewable project opportunities

Coordinate site visits to assess existing systems and document energy performance data

Collaborate with engineers to prepare design documents, cost estimates, and ensure successful project implementation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering

Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in energy efficiency development and engineering design

Professional Engineering license (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and / or LEED AP preferred

Ability to analyze energy savings and implement complex projects related to HVAC and energy systems

Knowledge of project cost estimating and measurement and verification is a plus
