Junior Business Analyst (Data & Analytics) Contract Position | Miami Lakes, FL Overview Our client is a leading energy company seeking a talented Business Analyst to join their dynamic team in Miami Lakes, Florida. This 12-month contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to operational and financial analyses that drive critical business decisions in the energy sector. Key Responsibilities Conduct operational and financial analyses to support informed decision-making within the business unit Lead medium to large special projects involving quantitative and qualitative research Design and modify business processes to improve operational efficiency Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and SQL Apply standardized tools and techniques to collect, analyze, and present data for business insights Work extensively with data analysis, market intelligence, and modeling to support business strategies Utilize databases to derive insights including demand modeling, locational analysis, segment analysis, growth modeling, and propensity modeling Transform qualitative information into defined quantitative datapoints Drive projects forward to build a more complex customer data environment with enhanced tools and capabilities Support business performance tracking through advanced analytics and reporting Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or related field preferred Experience: 0-5 years of experience in business analysis, data management, or process improvement Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL required Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Location: Must be able to work on-site in Juno Beach, FL (No remote work available) What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of up to $29/hour 12-month contract duration providing stability and growth opportunity Exposure to cutting-edge energy industry projects Professional development in advanced analytics and business intelligence Collaborative work environment with industry experts Standard business hours (8 AM - 5 PM) This is an on-site position located at Miami Lakes, FL.
