Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal departments, such as terminal and plant personnel, along with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to resolve shipping, billing, and freight issues as needed.
- Communicate with customers and carriers to obtain the details of deliveries to various job sites.
- Obtain and resolve quotes and assist with freight increases.
- Review freight discrepancies and accessorial charges from freight companies.
- Work with Sales Team on Customer Pricing Requests and assist in pricing administration.
- Assist in price announcements and confirmation letters to customers.
- Assist in Forecast and Budget development.
- Supply sales reports and data as needed.
- Assist with projects as needed
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Business is preferred; High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 3-5 years experience in a customer service related role

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to conveying accurate and appropriate information

Ability to build and maintain professional and client relationships

Good organizational and follow-through skills, as well as time management skills

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other desktop programs; experience with bill of lading systems, ERP system (Oracle) and sales BI reporting tools (BOARD) a plus
