About The Position

Position : Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Critical Care Medicine (Locums)

Location : Erie, PA

Type : 1099 Locum Tenens

Start Date : October 2025

Credentialing : ~8 weeks with prescriptive authority

Scheduled Shifts : Day Shifts (6A-6P) :

October : 10 / 4, 10 / 5, 10 / 18, 10 / 19

November : 11 / 8, 11 / 9, 11 / 16, 11 / 22

Night Shifts (6P-6A) :

November : 11 / 7 & 11 / 8

Full stretch available : 11 / 7 - 11 / 11, if desired

Position Highlights :

High-acuity critical care cases

Procedures : Arterial lines, central lines, consults, and codes

No intubations required during night shifts

Collaborative hospital-based critical care team

Modern facility with strong support staff

Requirements :

Active PA License - Required

Board Certification - Required

Active DEA , ACLS , and BLS - Required

Prior experience in critical care / ICU preferred

Must be comfortable managing high-acuity patients
