Do you have a passion for agriculture and enjoy direct to farmer sales but are not interested in crop insurance and seed sales? Then this opportunity may be for you! We have a reputable client who is seeking to add a salesman to their business in the far Western Kentucky area to focus solely on property and casualty insurance to farmers and those in the Ag Industry. You will have the opportunity to work with some current clients but seeking someone with local farmer ties and connections to be driven to go out and build business. This is an opportunity to work with a customer who carries MULTIPLE lines and options for consumers. There's a fit for everyone and a price tag to fit, but at the end of the day, your successful Customer Service will be the reason they come back year after year. We are seeking individuals who have some solid connections in this area to farmers and those that want to be in control of their own income. The more you sell, the more you make. What you will be doing:

• Working with farmers and Ag Businesses to insure their property, homes, buildings and other assets.
• Helping them understand the needs to make sure coverage is adequate.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Quoting various product lines to provide options.
• Traveling the area of Gibson and surrounding counties to grow the customer base.

A successful candidate will possess the following:

• Strong drive to go out, network, meet people and call their network to provide them insurance.
• Solid farm background and experience selling direct to farmers.
• Entrepreneurial spirit - the more you sell, the more you make.
• 5+ years of Ag sales experience, preferably direct to farmer.
• Ability to pass your insurance exam.
• Be a local of Western Kentucky with a target to Carlisle, Hickman and Graves counties.

Compensation: This insurance company is different than most, they will provide you with a competitive base salary AND strong commissions. You are in control of how much you make by how much you hustle. Benefits: Health, vision and dental offered as well as a company vehicle. Desired Location : Western Kentucky region, specifically Hickman, Carlisle and Graves counties.
